A Friesen Heir!

We are very happy to announce the arrival of our third child, but first boy, Quin Birch Friesen! He was born on January 6th, at 4pm. Weighing in at a whopping 8 pounds!
Everything went very well and smooth and I thoroughly enjoyed my first Canadian experience (except for the painful birthing part of course).
Hazel and Luna are thrilled of course and always checking in on him first thing in the morning and making sure his soother is always available.
Terry is very thrilled for his heir, not that we really need to keep the Friesen name alive. I'm still a little confused at the thought of having and raising a boy but it's already been fun getting a baby dressed in something other than pink. Although I'm sure blue will become just as tiring.
So far things are going well other than lack of sleep, but Terry is on paternal leave until the end of January so I'm hoping we'll have things figured out by then.
